Anime Description: Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's
In this new chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! saga, 5D's takes place long after the exploits of Yugi Mutou. It is now the year 2021, and Domino City has transformed into New Domino City, a place where society is strongly divided between the rich and the poor. "Riding Duels" is the latest version of Duel Monsters, where events are played in large stadiums and involve the use of motorcycles with built-in Duel equipment called "Duel Runners."
Yusei Fudo, a popular duelist hopes to win his way to the top with his own Duel Runner, though he is betrayed by his friend Jack Atlas, who takes his Duel Runner and his most precious monster. Two years pass and Jack has won his way to the top of the tournament. Yusei once again enters the game in order to challenge the person that betrayed his trust....
During the duels, some of the cards are shown individually, and you hear a female voice explaining what the card does like the effect of syncro chick, a card that Yusei has.

why are people commenting on this if they don't like the series...
I love the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise (SP :P), and love the fact that they are making more and extending it, Yu-Gi-Oh will never grow old and will keep on living in my opinion, its one of those things you'll never forget if you love it so much, I know I'll never forget Yu-Gi-Oh at all (even though i haven't watched every single episode of them... except for 5Ds, I've been keeping up with that __/ (that's meant to be a peace sign but it fails lol))
So to the people who are commenting on here and hate this series, I have one question... Why??
It wastes like a minute of your life which you could of spent commenting on something you like XD hahahahahaha...

i agree with #11 and #3 mostly cause they should never dubbed it, just keep it the way it is, nd #3 is rite the show is so much more interesting then the original and GX because it has upgraded and so much 2 uncover nd its about dueling while you race...if they want it to though...the is awesome 2X....its the best out of the others...i get the show completely ... show more »

well I don't really Mind the Dubs(I could care less about how many series there are) I think Yugioh should just get Re-licensed by a company that wont edit out original animation and names but keep the 4kids Voice actors since I thought most of the voice actors actually brought out more personality in the characters, Like Dan Green for Example, He did a super awesome Job as Yugi. That's probably the only good thing 4kids actually did was use awesome voice actors n_n well that my opinion at least ~? ... show more »

I got addicted to the original "Yu-Gi-Oh!" almost right away, and have been ever since I was three or four (I'm twelve going on thirteen now). I was angry when "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX" came out because it wasn't like the original's animation and, to tell the truth, was stupid as heck. What drew me to the original in the first place was the characters, and same with 5D's. I saw Yusei's face, and Jack's, and they instantly made me think "Action". I was right~! I like the original the most, and 5D's second, because there's mild violence (like, the main character getting hurt). To me, GX didn't seem to have any of that. :/ ... show more »
